, Pyroplex has invested heavily in third party testing,
both in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Consequently, Pyroplex holds a
number of accreditations which include CERTFIRE & Warnock
Hersey.
Penetration sealing systems, including pipe collars, wraps and fire
resistant mastics have international accreditation.
Pyroplex has its own fuel fire furnace which is used to develop future
products. The furnace is also used on a regular basis for assessing
product compliance against a particular standard such as the BS476
series.

Materials
The Pyroplex material is a unique, patented formulation (patent number
2.298.159), which unlike other intumescents, is totally unaffected by
environmental conditions such as exposure to water. Once more, no
additional treatments or capping materials are required to protect the
active element of the product.
Pyroplex intumescent material expands to many times its original
volume. During the expansion stage, the carbon elements are fused thus
creating significant amounts of pressure and volume expansion. This
expansion is multi-directional and is therefore ideal as a gap sealing
solution.
Pyroplex operates a rigorous functional inspection regime on all
expanded materials to ensure that the product is fit for its intended
purpose as a fire resilient material.

technology available on the market today, thereby ensuring that
contractual requirements along with the specific needs of the customer
